The Lure of London

Welcome to 2022 my literary friends!

I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season. Today I am excited to share more details of my upcoming venture to London, United Kingdom. I have packed up my possessions, found a loving temporary home for my puppy dog and beloved car, and in six weeks will be boarding a plane to London via Singapore. What I will find when I get there, is anyone’s guess. I’m not sure why I thought moving overseas during a pandemic was a good idea, but I am doing it, nonetheless.

Thus far my plan is to arrive in London, gather my bearings and head to my first house sit for the UK. I am hoping the COVID-19 situation will return to what Londoners enjoyed around April/May 2021 where travel and movement was less restricted. Having spent the last two years essentially a hostage in not only my country but also my state, I am well and truly ready to spread my wings and depart this continent. The last time I set foot in an international airport was October of 2019. Since then I have had 2 international and 4 domestic trips cancelled due to the pandemic.

This is The Year of 30 and I will do everything in my power to make the most of it.

x Anna
