This morning I slept in until 8am and coincidentally met many of my travel companions at breakfast. Breakfast was about the same standard as yesterday. Not overwhelming but not the worst I’ve had.

It was lovely to have one last chance to say farewell to each other and wish one another well. After packing my duffel, it was time to walk 600m to my next hotel for a few nights, Diros Hotel. I dropped my bags to the storage room and walked straight down the road to the Omina fountain and then down toward Hadrian’s library, retracing many of our steps from dinner last night with Panos.

I spent the day meandering through the streets, walking up to the base of the Acropolis before deciding to pre-book a guided 'skip the queue’ tour for tomorrow morning. After a stop in the King and Queen’s garden to drink a Matcha Boba Tea (from Share Wish on Perikleous road) and eat a sandwich I packed from breakfast, I made my way to the Pandora Art Gallery which I fell in love with last night. Then it was back toward Diros to check in and make my way up to my room. The room is fine, with a bathroom that offers hot water and a flushing toilet. Heating and airconditioning are also present and functional, so I can’t ask for much more! I finished the evening with a light dinner consisting of a flakey pastry cheese pie from the incredible (24-hour) bakery down the street, Attika.
